12. Make reflection about the field of philosophy

Answer:

Philosophy is a reflective activity that invites students to make explicit their fundamental assumptions and beliefs. Self-reflection should take the further backward step of inspecting these assumptions and beliefs for internal coherence and consistency.

Philosophical reflection upon education can be traced back to Plato's Meno and Republic; the work of many mainstream philosophers since has educational relevance, but specific reference to education has been sporadic. When noted philosophers have turned directly to education their work often has not been philosophical, but rather cultured reflection. The rise of philosophy of education as a distinct specialization is a product of the twentieth century, and most practitioners are located in colleges of education; while their work draws upon the main branches of philosophy, it also reflects the influence of major cultural and educational trends. The way the field is conceptualized also differs in the English-speaking world and in Europe, where philosophy is often seen as part of a distinctive mixed normative–descriptive discipline, pedagogics. Around the mid-twentieth century, the naive so-called ‘isms’ approach became popular, in which implications for education were deduced from broad philosophical positions such as realism. This declined as analytic philosophy of education (APE) became popular, and key work was done on the concept of education and related matters. Eventually the focus shifted from language of education to social and political issues, and neo-Marxism, postmodernism, and feminism took root.

The philosophy needed by human being is the one which is correct. In other words, human beings

need the philosophy which conforms to reality. As philosophy is a basic factor in human life, it can

shape its mind and character and it is the main force shaping the destiny of nations. Philosophy

shapes them in a good and bad direction depending on the philosophy type accepted by human

beings. Philosophy studies the main qualities of the existence of human beings and the relation of

human beings and existence. Contrary to other sciences focusing on specific matters, it deals with

everything in the universe. Philosophy is not an activity that can be limited to a definition rather it

is a continuous search of knowing and defining. Special sciences are trees in the domain of

I believe a good teacher, first, has a powerful faith in the future. Like the forester planting an oak seedling knowing he or she will never see the tree in all its glory, I know I may never see the fruits of my labors as teacher. My calling is to plant and nurture seeds that will grow and shape tomorrow.

The good teacher knows and understands students, how they develop and learn. I know that students actively construct and transform their own knowledge based on past experiences and prior learning. I know that students do not all learn in the same way or at the same rate. I believe it is my responsibility as a teacher to be an effective diagnostician of students’ interests, abilities, and prior knowledge. I must then plan learning experie

21. write a reflection about western philosophy

Answer:

The ensuing article on the history of Western philosophy is divided into five sections ancient, medieval, Renaissance, modern, and contemporary. A threefold distinction between ancient, medieval, and modern philosophy was prevalent until recent times and is only as old as the end of the 17th century. This distinction slowly spread to historical writing in all fields and was given definitive influence in philosophical writing through the series of lectures on the history of philosophy that Hegel delivered first at Jena, then at Heidelberg, and finally at Berlin between 1805 and 1830. In the century after Hegel, it was taken for granted as standard practice, though a host of cultural assumptions is implied by its use.

23. Philosophy subject (short reflection about your life)

mY life isn't perfect, I have lots of good and bad memories. Philosophical reflection is, among other things, philosophical thinking in a general way about our ordinary thinking. When we take our ordinary thinking in general as an object of thinking, then we are reflecting philosophically.

Answer:

This essay reflects my understanding of what philosophy is and what I  learned in this course. Philosophy is a broad subject and can be difficult to understand. What we are learning is a philosophy lesson that makes me think rebelliously and  my brain is constantly spinning, but so far I understand that philosophy is a study of knowledge. It shatters everything. Examples used in the classroom are charity, dimness, and the most commonly appealed "upness" in the classroom. According to Aristotle, philosophy can be described as  an opportunity for people to understand themselves, our world and society, and our relationships with each other. Anyone who  can learn philosophy knows what it means to be human, what  is  good for humans, and above all, how  we can live a good life. I can. I myself had the opportunity to take a course in philosophy, and as the time for philosophy approached the end, I  suddenly realized how philosophy changed  aspects and the way I saw my life.

When I  first signed up to learn philosophy, I expected to be attacked by many famous philosophers like Protagoras and Socrates. Plato, Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas, etc. can do a lot in such a short period of time. In my eyes, I thought I would learn a minimum amount of information about a few philosophers. But I misunderstood. By learning from various philosophers, I have come to not only learn the teachings as if I were reading a textbook, but also as if I were a member of a family. My professor, doctor. Bass makes his lectures on  philosophers relevant and influential. Basically, from his lectures to his semester, the reason we study philosophy is that its teachings affect our daily lives today. Philosophers are not only  famous for their theories and writings, but also helped us realize good life ideas.
